4 × 2 HR GROUP SESSIONS: We meet on Zoom 4 times over 2 months, leveraging our Branding Tool Kit and digital course content to workshop customized marketing strategies for one* STR property of your choice.
2 x 1:1 VIRTUAL CONSULTS: But first, you’ll schedule two one-on-one virtual consults (1 hr each) with The Olive Jar founder, Dawn Asher. The first consult gets you dedicated attention for building your STR Branding Guide, the essential foundational guide you need to move forward with the group. The second consult follows the final group session, where Dawn helps you solidify a next-step action plan with prioritized task execution considering all variables at play.

HIGH LEVEL BIZ DEVELOPMENT: Build a customized STR Branding Guide* that articulates the story of your rental: your target traveler’s identity & travel lifestyle, unique design concept, relevant guest experiences, compelling visual media and more.
4 HIGH TOUCH ENGAGEMENT STRATEGIES: Work within your authentic hosting style to apply four experiential marketing strategies that engage your travelers—viewers & guests—into a lasting connection that builds you a loyal following (i.e. customer loyalty).
YOUR CUSTOMIZED ACTION PLAN: Learn how to execute every strategy, translating each into inviting design, unforgettable amenities and engaging media that’s just right for your target traveler and their niche community.
*NOTE: it’s best to engage with the work focusing on ONE property at a time; but, you’ll have everything you need to rinse and repeat the digital course work on ALL your properties in the future.

Outside of our group sessions + 1:1 consults hosted over Zoom, you get easy access to your personalized Olive Jar online portal, where all video tutorials and course work modules live.
It’s the same digital platform The Olive Jar uses to interface with our clients every day.
You’ll work through 6 course modules that are designed as fill-in-the-blank living documents, like a Google doc. You’ll be able to share these with Dawn (and with your peers if you so choose) throughout the Guidance Group term for her expert feedback.
Every fill-in-the-blank can be updated over years to come, while your STR business evolves—as it should!
This same platform includes an internal direct messaging channel where you can reach out to Dawn at any time.
Timeline & Structure
WE GET IT DONE IN 3 MONTHS
Consider Module 1 your “onboarding” process. You’ll have 4 weeks to ease into it, allowing plenty of time to review our video Branding Tool Kit, complete the Branding Guide course work, and meet with Dawn for your first 1:1 virtual consult.
The group sessions are scheduled EVERY OTHER WEEK thereafter, offering you 2 weeks in between to explore the respective module and fill in the blanks to the best of your ability. Your 1:1 virtual consults (1 hour each) and group sessions (2 hours each) provide ample space to dialogue with Dawn and your peers, workshopping each module. It’s a process—and we welcome both internal and external processors!
You have the freedom to complete the digital course work at your own pace, both during and after the Guidance Group term.
MODULE 1 : Branding Guide + 1:1 Virtual Consult
MODULE 2 : Module 2 Group Session
MODULE 3 : Module 3 Group Session
MODULE 4 : Module 4 Group Session
MODULE 5 : Module 5 Group Session
MODULE 6 : Action Planning + 1:1 Virtual Consult
Module 6 marks the conclusion to your Guidance Group term. So we can preserve momentum, your final 1:1 virtual consult takes place within 2 weeks of the last group session. This final module and consult are essential to maximizing your success and optimizing the course work material.
